I remember...I remember being in my own bedroom. But it wasn't my bedroom. But in the dream I knew it as, "my bedroom". None of my belongings were in the room. These odd shapes took its place instead. They looked as if I could reach into them and fall into another universe. I wanted to leave my room, and instead of walking into a hallway like I would in real life, the shapes had followed me once again and pushed me out into a new space. With each border that I crossed, a new room, seemingly with zero connection to the past, would materialize. I remember seeing childhood objects hung from the ceiling but it was hard to make out what they were. Everything was obscured. It felt like they were talking to me. But as inviting as they seemed, I knew they were dangerous. Maybe it was the movie marathons I had awake that put my now-state in front of a movie theater. And maybe it is my indecisiveness that put me in front of three different entrances. But I remember walking into each one and feeling as if I was held prisoner inside despite there being no one to prevent me from leaving. In fact there was no one. I later crouched down into a small door straight out of Middle-Earth. It took me down a long corridor of pictures and I felt transformed into a museum curator of sorts. But this collection was odd in that, it felt like an archive from a past life. A conquered world, what with the robots and freaky disembodied heads that blinked at you. Everywhere I went, a sense of unease and instability seemed to follow, yet I couldn't put my finger on it. Words weren't words. Text wasn't text. And I knew someone was always watching. I found some comfort in a living room, not mine, not someone's. But what scared me was the deep tunnel that lie in front of me. I could've taken my time enjoying and absorbing what was around me. Though I was being pushed towards the tunnel without any say in the matter. I found myself in the void, out of this world, and headed into a new dimension. Where would I find myself next? I was scared. I was confused.
